Biographical or Historical Information
George S. Westcott was an emeritus professor of music and director of bands at Eastern Illinois University. He earned a bachelor's degree from Adams State College and master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Iowa. His career at Eastern spanned from 1949 to his retirement in 1972.
